Manager

How long have you been with Alcoa?

“I have been with Alcoa since June of 2021 and have been in the workforce since 1999.”

What is your current title?

“My current title is Manager, but when I started I was a Recruiter.”

What got you into your current field?

“I was given an opportunity that I couldn't pass, and it was the best decision I made. Working for Alcoa and the JADOL family is amazing, it is truly a great company!”

What obstacles or challenges, if any, have you had to overcome being a professional woman?

“Having enough time in the day to do it all! I have two little girls and being a full-time mom and working can definitely have its challenges, but I wouldn't have it any other way!”

What keeps you motivated? Either in your profession or your life in general.

“My family is what keeps me motivated.”

What advice can you give to young women getting into the workforce?

“Be eager and willing to learn. Be independent but also a team player and stay focused... you got this!!!”

How long have you been with Alcoa?

“I just had my 1-year anniversary in February.”

What is your current title?

“My title is national recruiter.”

What got you into your current field?

“I was looking to change careers and a co-worker told me about the job, so I took a chance and applied.”

What obstacles or challenges, if any, have you had to overcome being a professional woman?

“With a new career, I am faced with the challenges of learning the ins and outs of the job. I am new to the industry and Alcoa Agency has been very supportive and has provided me with the training I need to succeed.”

What keeps you motivated? Either in your profession or your life in general.

“My co-workers keep me motivated. I see how dedicated and how hard they work.”

What advice can you give to young women getting into the workforce?

“Always do your best and don't be afraid to take chances. You can do more than you think.”
